  • Many different plans available from £7.50 per month
  • Must use call or text facility within 180 days or service may be restricted or cancelled
  • SIM remains property of Virgin
  • If lost or stolen customer liable for any charges until Virgin are notified
  • Virgin are able to make changes to the plan giving one months notice if the the changes are likely to be of material detriment to customer
  • If the customer does not accept the above must write within 90 days of effective date to cancel service with no additional penalties

Virgin mobile phone insurance

  • Maximum term 60 months
  • Loss and theft only covered for 14 days unless Mobile rescue is installed
  • Guaranteed next day replacement ( £5 compensation if delayed max £15)
  • International delivery available at charge of £20 plus any customs charges
  • If insurance is integrated into plan Virgin will pay £1.09 per month for insurance
  • If it is a chargable extra £7.99
  • £35 excess rising to £70 if within 3 months of start of plan or if there has been another successful claim within last 12 months
  • Virgin excludes a third claim within any 12 month period
  • Replacement phone will either be new or refurbished and have a 24 month guarantee
  • Faulty or damaged phone must be returned within 15 days to avoid being charged
  • Must give 30 days notice of any adverse changes to insurance
  • GREY AREAS -mentioned in exclusions are the following examples-Even though accidental damage is included
  • Incidents of taking risks with the phone- leaving on the side of the bath, unattended phone unless locked out of sight and there are signs of forced entry
  • Leaving the phone on the bonnet or roof of a car
